Who we are
The Fratelli Carlo and Luca Frasa winery was founded in 2008 by their father Roberto and is located in Rodi-Fiesso at Via Morasco 13. It is a family-run business, and everyone's commitment to caring for the vineyards is essential for producing healthy, high-quality grapes, which ultimately guarantee the production of excellent wines.
The company currently cultivates over two hectares of vineyards located in the municipalities of the lower and middle Leventina, from Pasquerio to below Anzonico in the Pianotondo area. The soil in these regions is composed of granite and gneiss, and the good acidity and minerality of the soils give the wines character and a good aging potential. Our white wines are Bianco di Merlot, Chardonnay, and Johanniter; our rosés are Rosato di Merlot and Rosato di Bondola; and our red wines are Rosso di Merlot in stainless steel and Rosso di Merlot aged for 12 months in French barriques. Our products carry the Ticino regio.garantie label. The company has an excellent cellar, which guarantees constant temperature and humidity year-round; ideal conditions for aging wines.
At the Johanniter vineyard in the Pianotondo area, we have a rustic building where, upon reservation, tastings, lunches, dinners, and vineyard tours can be organized.
At our home in Rodi-Fiesso, we also have a space where, upon reservation, aperitifs, lunches, dinners, or other events can be organized.
